Giedrius Jankauskas, Lithuania based photographer specializing in fashion & celebrity photography is seeking a retoucher to support my growing company.
I am looking for a talented individual who can work closely with me on high volume catalog fashion images, as well as high quality fashion and celebrity images.
You must be based on the Vilnius of Lithuania and have reliable transportation.
I will show you my preferred look for retouching and will expect you to match those results. This position is not for the novice, but it is not necessary to be a top expert either. As long as you are knowledgeable, experienced and motivated to work hard and learn, this position will be right for you.
Qualifications in an ideal candidate:
Be able to expertly and realistically correct flesh-tones, skin & figure flaws
Possess a critical eye for correcting and enhancing exposure and color
Excellent knowledge of RAW processing of digital images
Work quickly but accurately
Reliable, detail-oriented and extremely motivated
Strong organizational skills & multitasking abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Expert in Apple computers and Adobe Photoshop (version CS through CS4)
Some knowledge of Phase One C1Pro software and Adobe Bridge
Basic website management and FTP posting experience
Have a flexible schedule
You will be guaranteed 8 days of work per month and will be expected to complete the processing and retouching of up to 30 images per day.
The bulk of the work days will be devoted to high volume catalog images.
You will work out of my home office near Vilnius and/or at your own pro retouching station, depending on your situation.
