Model and Olympic medal winning boxer, Marlen Esparza
Marlen Esparza is not just the pretty face seen in Cover Girl cosmetics commercials. She is an American boxer who became the first U.S. woman to win an Olympic boxing match and she “claimed the first American boxing medal,” winning bronze in London.
Marlen clearly has what it takes to succeed after proving she can compete with the best in one of the most competitive and demanding sports in the world. We wish her continued success modeling.

Dotsie Bausch – from anorexic model to Olympic medalist
Can you believe that American Olympic cyclist and silver medalist Dotsie Bausch used to be a very thin runway model suffering from anorexia and battling drug addiction? At the age of 14, Dotsie won a modeling contest for Seventeen Magazine where she did a shoot in California and her career took off from there. But, as her modeling career blossomed she battled severe anorexia and began abusing drugs.
However, Dotsie overcame both and went on to win the silver medal at the Olympics. Her transformation and success is an inspiration to many, and Dotsie is more than just an athlete or a model, she is a role model.
